Throwback Thursday!

Me (left) and Catherine in our front yard. |
I don't know about everyone else, but I am in disbelief that it is already mid-April. These last few months have gone by so fast! The busy period at work has come and gone and, hopefully, the warm weather is here to stay. The wildflowers are in full bloom and Easter is around the corner. So, in honor of family holidays past, I give you Easter 1991...
|
Prepped and ready for the 1991 easter egg hunt! |
|
Let the hunt begin! |
|
Got to find 'em all! |
|
I look like a little pilgrim! |

Catherine and her collection of easter eggs. |

Catherine, me, and our mother in our front yard.
We had larger-than-life painted wood yard decorations for all different holidays.
We were the festive house on the block! |
Jen, I am sure that you don't remember, but the large dots on the eggs signified whose egg it was. Blue for you and purple for Catherine. Since you were not yet two years old and Catherine was 3 1/2, we wanted to make sure that she would not race through the yard snatching up all of the eggs. The plan worked well and both of you ended up with the same number of eggs!
